Bambu Lab PLA-CF is carbon fiber-reinforced PLA with improved stiffness and strength. PLA-CF is easy to print and beginner-friendly, just like regular PLA. It is AMS-compatible and has a low risk of clogging at high print speeds. The parts have a matte finish with nearly invisible layer lines, making it suitable for producing general engineering parts or models that require a better appearance, such as bicycle frames, mounts, and toys. All print parameters are embedded in the RFID, which can be read via the AMS (Automatic Material System). Load and print! No more tedious adjustments. The addition of carbon fibers gives the prints a unique, matte finish and effectively hides layer lines, creating a smooth, high-quality appearance. Bambu Lab PLA-CF outperforms PLA Matte by 20 to 115% in terms of XY flexural strength, Z flexural strength, XY flexural modulus, Z flexural modulus, XY impact strength, and Z impact strength, making it better suited for printing models with higher strength requirements. Bambu Lab PLA-CF is just as easy to print as regular PLA. It can be printed smoothly and consistently at high speeds without clogging. Bambu Lab PLA-CF is designed to be self-supporting. It can be removed more easily than standard PLA while still maintaining a smooth surface.
