The Kimya TPU-R 3D filament belongs to the polyurethane family. Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is an elastomer made out of recycled materials. It combines elastic and mechanical properties. This combination gives the filament properties such as elasticity, transparency and resistance against oil, grease and abrasion. The Kimya TPU-R 3D printing material has a Shore hardness of 92 A. It enables the printing of strong and flexible parts. It is used in the electronics, automotive, consumer goods and sporting goods industries. Kimya TPU-R is often used by industrial users who need a flexible material and at the same time want to improve their environmental balance. The material is suitable for handles, insulation, press fittings and shock absorbers. Private users also use the material, for example for seals and springs.
