The Anycubic PLA Basic 4KG spool is the perfect choice for makers looking to realize large projects cost-effectively. Made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), this filament stands out for its user-friendliness and excellent printing properties. PLA is a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources, making it more eco-friendly than conventional plastics. It features low shrinkage and minimal warping, making it particularly suitable for beginners and printing complex geometries. The filament delivers smooth surfaces and sharp details without necessarily requiring a heated print bed. For optimal results, we recommend a nozzle temperature between 190°C and 220°C and a bed temperature of 0°C to 60°C. Adequate cooling (fan) is recommended to cleanly print overhangs. Suitable applications include prototyping, decorative items, toys, and casings for electronic components. However, please note that PLA is heat-sensitive and not suitable for use in high-temperature environments (above 60°C) or outdoors.
