Bambu Lab PC Translucent is a high-performance polycarbonate filament renowned for its exceptional strength, impact resistance, and thermal stability. This translucent variant allows for the creation of parts with light-transmitting properties, making it ideal for applications requiring both durability and aesthetic light effects. With a tensile strength of up to 70 MPa and a heat deflection temperature of approximately 115 °C, this material is suitable for demanding environments. For optimal results, a bed temperature of 110 °C and a nozzle temperature of 260–280 °C are recommended. Due to the high temperatures, a heated enclosure is essential to minimize warping. Suitable applications include functional prototypes, mechanical components, electronic housings, and light-transmissive covers. Note that PC is sensitive to moisture and should be thoroughly dried before printing. While not recommended for beginners, this filament offers top-tier results for experienced users.
