Bedrock 3D PLA Tough Natural is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on polylactic acid (PLA), known for its enhanced toughness and impact resistance. Unlike standard PLA, this material offers higher resistance to breaks and cracks, making it ideal for functional parts and mechanically stressed applications. The natural color provides a neutral appearance, perfect for decorative objects or pieces intended for post-processing. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1,000 g, the filament offers ample length for extensive printing projects. Recommended printing temperatures range from 190 °C to 220 °C, while the heated bed temperature is ideally set between 50 °C and 60 °C to ensure proper adhesion. PLA Tough is easy to process and exhibits less warping than ABS, making it suitable for beginners as well. Key strengths include high printing precision, low shrinkage, and eco-friendliness, as PLA is made from renewable resources. However, limitations include limited heat resistance, as the material may soften at temperatures above 60 °C. Ideal applications include prototypes, enclosures, toys, and decorative objects requiring higher mechanical durability.
