It is a lightweight thermoplastic material with high stiffness and resistance to heat and chemicals. Its high machinability and mechanical strength make it an excellent choice for most industrial applications, particularly in the automotive and aerospace industries. PA6/66 functions similarly to nylon PA6, a common material for injection molding, and is ideal for printing end-use parts or for producing prototypes with material properties nearly identical to those of the final, mass-produced parts. Due to its durability and scalability in production, the material is suitable not only for industrial transportation applications but also for the development of electrical enclosures, cooling and heating systems, as well as for molding and vacuum forming. Prototyping and mass-producing parts from PA6/66 with the same material properties as a product from traditional plastic manufacturing can significantly shorten the product development cycle, circumvent common problems in the late iteration phase, and avoid the associated exorbitant costs.
