Extrudr Flex Hard CF Schwarz is a high-quality TPU filament reinforced with short carbon fibers to significantly enhance mechanical properties. This material offers an excellent combination of flexibility and stiffness, making it ideal for applications requiring both durability and some elasticity. The short carbon fibers increase surface hardness and reduce deformation under load, while the TPU base material provides typical elasticity. For optimal results, we recommend a printing temperature between 220°C and 240°C and a heated bed of 50°C to 60°C. A hardened steel nozzle is strongly recommended due to the abrasive nature of the carbon fibers to prevent premature wear. This filament is particularly suitable for functional prints such as sturdy bands, seals, impact-resistant casings, or mechanical joints. Strengths include high abrasion resistance and improved dimensional stability, while limitations involve slightly more complex handling compared to standard TPU. With its deep black color, Flex Hard CF also delivers professional and aesthetically pleasing print results.
