Extrudr Flex Hard Transparent is a premium TPU filament based on polyurethane, distinguished by its increased Shore hardness. Compared to standard soft TPU, this material offers improved stiffness and dimensional stability while retaining typical elasticity and toughness. The transparent color allows for aesthetically pleasing prints where the internal structure or encased objects remain visible. This material is particularly suitable for functional parts requiring shock-absorbing properties, as well as flexible joints, protective covers, and technical seals. Due to the abrasive nature of TPU, the use of a hardened steel nozzle is recommended to minimize wear. A direct drive extruder is necessary for the printing process to ensure reliable material feeding and prevent jams. Although Flex Hard is more resistant to deformation than soft TPU, high print speeds should be avoided to ensure precise layer adhesion. Dry storage is recommended, as TPU is hygroscopic and moisture can negatively affect print quality.
