Extrudr PLA NX2 in vibrant orange is a premium 3D printing material based on polylactic acid (PLA), designed with enhanced material properties for superior performance. This filament stands out for its high tensile strength and improved impact resistance compared to standard PLA, making it tougher and less brittle. It is ideal for precise and detailed prints, offering minimal shrinkage and excellent dimensional stability. PLA NX2 is also biodegradable and eco-friendly, sourced from renewable raw materials. For optimal print results, a nozzle temperature of 190 to 220 °C and a heated bed temperature of 0 to 60 °C are recommended. While a heated bed is not mandatory, it can enhance adhesion. Thanks to its low warping tendency, PLA NX2 is suitable for larger prints as well. Applications range from prototypes and functional models to decorative objects and enclosures. Despite its strengths, PLA NX2 is not heat-resistant and should not be exposed to temperatures above 60 °C. Additionally, it is less resistant to UV radiation and moisture compared to technical materials like ABS or PETG.
