Flashforge PETG Natürlich is a high-quality 3D printing filament that excels due to its excellent balance of strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance. As a blend of PET and Glycol, this material offers the ease of use of PLA combined with the thermal stability and toughness of ABS. The 'Natural' (transparent/natural) color is ideal for applications requiring visual inspection of internal structures or for post-processing painting. This filament prints with minimal odor and exhibits low shrinkage, making it a reliable choice for functional parts. For optimal results, a printing temperature between 230 °C and 250 °C and a heated bed of 60 °C to 80 °C are recommended. Due to its toughness, PETG is less prone to cracking than PLA, though it can be prone to slight stringing, requiring proper retraction settings. It is perfect for mechanical parts, containers, tools, and outdoor applications due to its resistance to moisture and chemicals. Note that PETG can be harder to paint than other filaments and is sensitive to moisture, so dry storage is advised.
