Flashforge PLA-CF Black is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on PLA, reinforced with carbon fibers. This combination combines the ease of use of PLA with the mechanical benefits of carbon fibers, resulting in a material that is particularly stiff, durable, and dimensionally stable. The filament is ideal for functional prototypes, mechanical parts, and applications requiring higher strength than standard PLA. Due to the fibers, the printed object has a unique, matte surface with an elegant black finish. For optimal results, a print temperature between 200 and 230 °C and a heated bed at 50–60 °C are recommended. It is advisable to use a hardened steel nozzle, as the fibers can wear down standard nozzles faster. PLA-CF is not suitable for safety-critical structures or very high temperatures, but offers an excellent balance of strength and printability.
