In cooperation with Polyscope Polymers from the Netherlands, BASF Ultrafuse has developed a special ABS filament for 3D printing. Polyscope offers solutions to improve the performance of various engineering plastics, such as ABS, by adding styrene and maleic anhydride (SMA). The advantages are high heat resistance and high dimensional stability. BASF Ultrafuse has the capabilities to analyze material behavior in 3D printing and to implement improvements. This has resulted in an optimized ABS filament for 3D printing: ABS Fusion+ with Polyscope XILOY. The majority of ABS filaments available on the market are primarily general purpose filaments. This has a negative impact on the material properties and the usability of these FDM filaments and does not allow the end user to exploit the full potential of 3D printing. With ABS Fusion+, BASF Ultrafuse offers an ABS filament optimized for 3D printing. Try the new ABS Fusion+ Filament from BASF Ultrafuse and you will be amazed! Note: The current filaments of BASF Ultrafuse were sold under the brand name Innofil3D until the end of 2019. The Dutch manufacturer was previously acquired by the German chemical company BASF. As part of the acquisition, the filaments were renamed and the packaging changed. The printing material itself is still the same high-quality filament as before.
