Intamsys HIPS Filament Natural 1.75 mm is a premium 3D printing material based on High Impact Polystyrene, ideal for durable models and as a support material for ABS prints. Thanks to its similar thermal properties, HIPS works excellently with ABS and can be easily dissolved with limonene or other solvents without damaging the main print. The material offers high impact resistance and good dimensional stability, making it particularly suitable for technical applications and prototypes requiring toughness. For optimal results, a nozzle temperature of 230–250 °C and a heated bed of 100–110 °C are recommended. An enclosed build chamber is advisable to prevent warping. As HIPS contains styrene, ensure proper ventilation during printing. The Natural color highlights the industrial nature of the material and allows for easy post-processing such as sanding or painting.
