Kimya TPC-91A Red is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on polycarbonate (PC), known for its exceptional mechanical strength and thermal resistance. This material is ideal for applications requiring high load-bearing capacity and heat stability, with a melting point of around 260–280 °C and a heat resistance of up to 110 °C. The filament has a diameter of 1.75 mm and weighs 750 g, offering a good balance between usability and yield. It comes in a vibrant red, providing aesthetically pleasing prints. Recommended print settings include a nozzle temperature of 260–280 °C and a heated bed temperature of 100–120 °C. A heated bed is essential to minimize warping, and an enclosed print chamber is recommended for optimal results. Kimya TPC-91A Red is perfect for functional prototypes, enclosures, mechanical parts, and applications in the automotive or machinery industries. Its high toughness and impact resistance make it less brittle than many other filaments. However, PC is more challenging to process than standard materials like PLA or ABS, as it is prone to warping and requires careful adjustment of print parameters.
