Kimya TPC-91A is a flexible 3D printing material that belongs to the thermoplastic copolyester elastomer family. 91A refers to the filament’s Shore hardness. This material from the French manufacturer Kimya offers exceptional tear resistance and elasticity. Layer adhesion is very good, as is typical for flexible filaments. Additionally, the plastic is highly resistant to abrasion, impact, and certain chemicals. Despite its soft properties, the filament prints well. Bowden-style extruders, such as the Ultimaker, can also process this filament. The only thing to watch out for is the print speed. For the best possible print results, the recommended values should not be exceeded. The Kimya TPC-91A filament is frequently used for gaskets, handles, or in athletic shoes. The filament is a plastic primarily used for industrial applications. However, due to its ease of printing, private users can also process the material intuitively.

Print TemperatureRecommended nozzle temperature range. Stay within range for best layer adhesion and surface quality
260°C - 260°C
Bed TemperatureHeated bed temperature to prevent warping. Some materials like PLA can print without a heated bed
60°C - 60°C
Diameter1.75mm is standard, 2.85mm for some printers
1.75 mm
Spool WeightNet weight of filament on the spool. Standard spools are 1kg (1000g)
