Kimya TPU-92A filament is a flexible 3D printing material that can be easily processed on most common 3D printers (including Bowden-style extruders such as Ultimaker or BCN3D). TPU stands for Thermoplastic Polyurethane. This material belongs to the thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). The designation 92A in the name of the article describes the Shore hardness, which describes the flexibility of a material. This filament is a balance between soft flexibility and easy printability. All colours or variations comply with the food approval EU10/2011 and all colours of the filament (except black) additionally comply with FDA 21 CFR guidelines for food contact. Kimya TPU-92A has a high resistance to most solvents and therefore enables durable, abrasion-resistant functional components. Components made of TPU are often used for rollers, wheels or even gripper arms. The material is used both by industry and private users to produce handles, dampers or even simple seals.
