Kimya TPU-92A filament is a flexible 3D printing material that can be easily processed on most common 3D printers (including Bowden-style extruders such as Ultimaker or BCN3D). TPU stands for thermoplastic polyurethane. This material belongs to the thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) family. The designation 92A in the product name refers to the Shore hardness, which indicates a material’s flexibility. This filament offers a good balance between soft flexibility and easy printability. All colors and variations comply with EU Regulation 10/2011 for food contact. All filament colors (except black) also comply with the FDA 21 CFR guidelines for food contact. Kimya TPU-92A has high resistance to most solvents and therefore enables the production of durable, abrasion-resistant functional parts. TPU components are frequently used for rollers, wheels, or gripper arms. The material is used by both industry and private users to manufacture handles, dampers, or simple seals.
