Kimya TPU-R Natural is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with recycled content, distinguished by its excellent elasticity and toughness. The material in Natural color offers a flexible surface and is ideal for applications requiring mechanical durability. Thanks to its high impact strength and tear resistance, Kimya TPU-R is the perfect choice for functional prototypes, seals, protective cases, and technical components that need to combine flexibility and durability. For optimal printing results, a nozzle temperature of 220–240°C and a bed temperature of 40–60°C are recommended. A heated print bed is advisable to ensure good first-layer adhesion, and the use of an adhesive like Magigoo or a PEI bed can further improve adhesion. Due to its flexibility, Kimya TPU-R is somewhat more challenging to process than rigid materials like PLA or ABS. Reducing print speed and using a Bowden extruder with low friction or a Direct Drive extruder is recommended to avoid clogs. The material's strengths include high abrasion resistance, oil and grease resistance, and the ability to withstand repeated deformation without breaking. As a limitation, lower layer adhesion on complex overhangs and the need for optimized filament feeding should be noted.
