Polymaker HT-PLA Brown 1.75 mm 1,000 g is a premium PLA-based 3D printing filament with enhanced heat resistance. Unlike standard PLA, HT-PLA offers a higher heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 100 °C after annealing, making it ideal for functional applications. The material is easy to print, similar to standard PLA, and works well with most desktop 3D printers. It is fade-resistant, low-odor, and features good tensile strength. Recommended print temperature is 190–230 °C, while the bed temperature should be 25–60 °C. A heated bed is optional but can improve adhesion. HT-PLA is particularly suitable for prototypes, enclosures, decorative objects, and mechanical parts that require higher thermal resistance. Strengths include excellent surface finish, low warping, and eco-friendliness. Limitations include reduced performance above 100 °C and potential slight color changes with prolonged UV exposure. Overall, HT-PLA is an excellent choice for users seeking PLA’s ease of use with improved thermal performance.
