As a filament, ABS is particularly suitable for objects that require increased impact strength and temperature resistance. The Chinese manufacturer Polymaker is one of the best known and most successful premium manufacturers in the field of 3D printing filaments. The manufacturer's PolyLite series brings excellent quality at an affordable price. PolyLite ABS is manufactured with a special bulk polymerized ABS resin that has a significantly lower volatile content compared to conventional ABS resins. It delivers excellent print quality with minimal odour during printing. Polymaker PolyLite ABS is often used by home end users to print a wide variety of everyday items. Many brackets and handles are made of ABS due to its high impact resistance. In addition, the filament is suitable for applications under higher temperatures. The printing material is also widely used in toys, the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and household appliances. Note: In February 2022, Polymaker has started to convert all filaments to cardboard spools. This conversion will proceed piece by piece over a longer period of time. Both the manufacturer itself and we as a distributor will of course first sell off the old stock before we have the new spools available. The filament itself remains unchanged by this conversion, it is only a change in packaging, as well as a new EAN and SKU number.
