Polymaker PolyLite ASA Orange is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, designed specifically for outdoor applications. Unlike standard ABS, ASA offers excellent weather resistance and UV stability, ensuring printed objects do not yellow or become brittle even with prolonged sun exposure. The material is also resistant to many chemicals and features high mechanical strength. PolyLite ASA is known for its good tensile strength and impact resistance, making it ideal for functional applications. Recommended printing temperatures range from 230 to 250 °C for the nozzle and 80 to 100 °C for the heated bed. Due to low emissions and a pleasant odor, ASA is a safer alternative to ABS for enclosed printers. Typical applications include automotive parts, outdoor furniture, garden accessories, and casings for electronic devices exposed to the elements. However, like other technical plastics, ASA requires proper ventilation during printing to maintain optimal quality.
