Polymaker PolyLite PC Transparent is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on polycarbonate (PC), known for its exceptional mechanical strength and heat resistance. This transparent filament offers excellent clarity and is ideal for applications requiring both optical transparency and structural integrity. Recommended print settings include a nozzle temperature of 260–280 °C and a heated bed temperature of 80–100 °C to ensure optimal adhesion and layer bonding. Due to its low warping tendency, it is easier to process than conventional PC filaments. Key strengths include high impact resistance, heat deflection temperature up to 115 °C, and chemical resistance. Suitable applications include functional prototypes, light-transmitting enclosures, mechanical parts, and optical components. Limitations include that PC is generally not food-safe and requires a well-ventilated printing environment to minimize emissions.
