Buddy3D ABS Natural by Prusa is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, distinguished by its superior mechanical strength and thermal resistance. With its natural, opaque appearance, it is perfect for functional prototypes and end-use parts that require stability. This material is particularly resistant to heat and chemical impacts, making it an excellent choice for technical applications. Due to its tendency to warp, printing should be done in an enclosed chamber to achieve optimal results. Recommended printing temperatures range between 230 °C and 260 °C, while the heated bed temperature should ideally be set to 100 °C to ensure good adhesion and minimize detachment from the bed. ABS is ideally suited for automotive applications, casings, and mechanically stressed components. Its strengths include high toughness and impact resistance, although the material requires proper ventilation as fumes may be released during printing.
