The EXTRUDER MOTOR PLATE MK3S+ by Prusa is a high-quality 3D-printed model made from PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol). This material is known for its excellent balance of strength, toughness, and thermal resistance, making it ideal for functional parts. PETG is resistant to chemicals and moisture, enhancing the durability of the printed part. For optimal results, it is recommended to print at a nozzle temperature between 230 and 250 °C and a bed temperature of 70–80 °C. An enclosed build chamber can help minimize warping. The EXTRUDER MOTOR PLATE MK3S+ is particularly suitable for mechanical engineering, prototyping, and technical accessories. Its strengths include high impact resistance and good UV resistance. However, PETG can be sensitive to rapid cooling, which may lead to delamination. Additionally, the material tends to string, so precise retraction settings are essential.
