The Prusa Front Plate filament spool is a specialized material designed specifically for manufacturing high-quality front plates and enclosure parts. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1000 g, this filament offers an excellent balance of strength and processing properties. The material is characterized by its high toughness and heat resistance, making it ideal for long-lasting applications. Recommended printing temperatures range between 210 °C and 230 °C, while the bed temperature should ideally be set to 50–60 °C. This filament is particularly suitable for functional parts, enclosures, and mechanical components that require high load-bearing capacity. Strengths include low shrinkage and good adhesion to common print beds, while limitations are in limited chemical resistance to aggressive solvents. For optimal results, the use of a heated print bed and a print speed of 40–60 mm/s is recommended.
