Prusament ASA is the ideal solution for functional prototypes and end-use parts intended for outdoor applications. Compared to ABS, ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) offers significantly better weather resistance against UV radiation, ensuring the material does not yellow even after prolonged exposure to sunlight. Additionally, this filament is characterized by high thermal stability and mechanical strength. A key feature of Prusament is the exceptional spool quality and tight diameter tolerance (± 0.03 mm), ensuring reliable results and clog-free printing. The material possesses good tensile properties and is more resistant to chemicals and heat than PLA. When printing, a heated print bed is essential to prevent lifting of the first layer (warping). We recommend a nozzle temperature between 240 °C and 260 °C and a bed temperature around 100 °C. To effectively minimize warping, the use of an enclosure is highly recommended to avoid drafts; however, since ASA emits less intense fumes than ABS, it is also suitable for printing in well-ventilated rooms without an enclosure. This bundle contains 5 spools plus 1 spool for free, making it perfect for versatile projects.
