Prusament ASA Jet Black is a premium 3D printing filament based on Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, specifically designed for functional outdoor applications. Unlike standard ABS, ASA offers excellent weather resistance, high UV stability, and superior heat resistance, ensuring that printed parts do not yellow or become brittle even under direct sunlight. The material impresses with mechanical strength, good toughness, and ease of processing. The deep jet black ensures a professional look and high contrast. ASA is ideal for functional prototypes, outdoor end-use parts, enclosures, automotive accessories, and model making. Thanks to embedded NFC tags, data access for printers is conveniently automated. Recommended print settings include a nozzle temperature of 250°C to 260°C and a bed temperature of 100°C to 110°C. An enclosure is crucial to minimize airflow and prevent warping. Proper ventilation is recommended to manage typical emissions during the printing process.
