Prusament PC Blend in Urban Grey is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on polycarbonate, renowned for its exceptional strength and heat resistance. This PC blend is specifically engineered to improve printability while retaining the superior mechanical properties of pure polycarbonate. Thanks to its enhanced toughness, this filament is perfect for functional prototypes and durable parts that must withstand high temperatures and mechanical stress. For optimal results, a heated bed with a temperature of 100-110 °C and an extruder temperature between 265-285 °C are recommended. An enclosed chamber is advisable to minimize warping caused by heat loss. Suitable applications include casings, mechanical joints, and technical components in the automotive or engineering fields. Note, however, that PC Blend is sensitive to moisture and should be thoroughly dried before printing to prevent print defects.
