Recreus FilaFlex 82A Transparent is a premium TPU filament (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) with a Shore hardness of 82A, making it ideal for creating flexible prints. Thanks to its excellent chemical composition, this material offers exceptional toughness and elasticity, positioning it as one of the top flexible filaments on the market. The transparent color allows for visually striking prints where translucency is desired. For optimal results, it is recommended to use FilaFlex 82A with a direct-drive extruder, as softer materials can cause jams in Bowden systems. The recommended printing temperature is between 220°C and 240°C, while a heated print bed should be set to 0°C to 50°C. A print speed of 15 to 30 mm/s ensures precision, and a 100% infill is suggested to maintain the part's maximum flexibility. This filament is perfect for applications such as flexible joints, shock-absorbing components, protective cases, or medical prototypes. Its strengths include high abrasion resistance, the ability to return to its original shape after deformation, and ease of processing. A limitation is that the material may lose stability in thin walls and requires careful print settings to avoid stringing.
