Recreus FilaFlex SEBS Natural is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on SEBS (Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene), offering an excellent alternative to standard TPU. This flexible filament stands out for its exceptional flexibility, toughness, and resistance to wear and tear. Unlike many other elastic materials, FilaFlex SEBS exhibits high chemical resistance, especially against oils and greases, making it ideal for technical applications. The recommended printing temperature is between 220°C and 240°C, while a heated print bed at 45°C to 60°C is advised to ensure proper adhesion. Slow printing speeds of 15-30 mm/s yield the best results. Due to its elasticity, this filament is perfect for creating flexible joints, protective cases, seals, and durable mechanical parts. Key strengths include its ease of handling compared to softer TPU variants and its high reusability. A potential limitation is the need for a direct drive extruder to prevent filament slippage.
