METALSolvay
Solvay KetaSpire polyetheretherketone offers a unique combination of properties that perform consistently at temperatures up to 240 °C. Thanks to its exceptional chemical resistance, KetaSpire PEEK can replace metals in critical end-use applications such as oil & gas, aerospace, and automotive. The KetaSpire PEEK AM Filament CF10 LS1 contains 10% carbon fiber reinforcement for increased strength. Solvay’s specialty polymers meet the critical requirements that engineers in key industries such as automotive, aerospace, smart devices, healthcare, chemical processing, and power generation face every day. Solvay aims to strengthen this leadership position by aligning its world-class materials with the rapidly emerging additive manufacturing (AM) industry. By developing differentiated new materials from its unique portfolio, partnering with major equipment manufacturers, and building an ecosystem of open printers and service bureaus, Solvay intends to offer high-performance AM solutions that enable previously impossible applications and designs. Starting with the introduction of custom AM-ready filaments (based on KetaSpire PEEK, Radel PPSU, and Solef PVDF), Solvay will continue to expand its range of AM solutions to offer more high-performance materials and solutions for optimizing design, processing, and part performance. Note: This product is a high-end polymer. This filament cannot be processed on a standard desktop FDM 3D printer. The material requires an elevated nozzle temperature as well as a heated build chamber. Solvay Radel, Solvay KetaSpire, and Solvay Solef are registered trademarks of Solvay S.A.
