Discover the Sovol Glow in the Dark PLA Filament, a captivating choice for anyone looking to add a luminous touch to their 3D printing projects. Based on Polylactic Acid (PLA), this filament is not only easy to process but also stands out due to its exceptional property of glowing in the dark. The material is biodegradable and emits low odors when printing, making it particularly eco-friendly and pleasant to use. For optimal results, we recommend a nozzle temperature between 190 °C and 220 °C and a heated bed temperature of 50 °C to 60 °C. While a heated bed is not strictly mandatory, it significantly improves the adhesion of the first layer. Due to the added glow pigments, this filament is slightly more abrasive than standard PLA; therefore, the use of a hardened steel nozzle is recommended to prevent premature wear. This filament is ideal for decorative objects, toys, Halloween decorations, or keychains that provide surprises in the dark. It is suitable for both beginners and advanced users alike. Key strengths include easy handling, low shrinkage, and an impressive glow effect after a short charging time under a light source. As a limitation, note that the luminous intensity may decrease over time and the pigments can make the filament slightly more brittle than pure PLA.
