Ultimaker PC Transparent 2.85 mm is a high-quality polycarbonate filament known for its exceptional strength, toughness, and heat resistance. With its transparent finish, it is ideal for applications requiring both optical clarity and mechanical durability. This material is highly resistant to impact and high temperatures, making it perfect for functional prototypes, enclosures, and engineering parts. For optimal results, a print temperature between 270°C and 300°C and a heated bed of 110°C to 130°C are recommended. Due to its tendency to warp, using an enclosed build chamber is essential to ensure even cooling and stability. Ultimaker PC Transparent offers excellent dimensional stability and chemical resistance but requires experience with advanced materials. It is less sensitive to moisture than some other polycarbonates but should still be stored dry for the best print quality.
