As we often receive inquiries regarding the compatibility of Ultimaker filaments, we would like to inform you that this filament can be processed by all Ultimaker printers. However, the built-in NFC chip can only be read by Ultimaker 3 and Ultimaker S5. The Ultimaker Tough PLA is a technical PLA filament that can be compared to ABS in terms of robustness. The printing properties are the same as those of conventional PLA. It is therefore easy to print and does not emit any harmful vapours. This makes it ideal for printing technical models with larger dimensions.
