Flashforge PLA Matt Naturally is a premium 3D printing filament roll designed for users seeking professional results with a matte surface finish. Unlike standard glossy PLA, this matte variant offers a pleasant, soft finish that minimizes light reflections, allowing fine details and textures to stand out beautifully. The material is made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), is biodegradable, and emits low odors during printing. It features high stiffness and good tensile strength while being easier to process than ABS or PETG. A printing temperature between 190 °C and 220 °C is recommended, along with a heated bed temperature of 50 °C to 60 °C for optimal adhesion. This filament is particularly suitable for decorative objects, models, prototypes, and functional parts where an aesthetic, non-glossy appearance is desired. Its strengths include ease of use, low shrinkage, and the matte look. A limitation to consider is that PLA is less heat-resistant than other technical plastics and is therefore not suitable for applications exceeding 60 °C. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1,000 g, this spool provides ample material for larger projects.
