Kimya ABS-EC (Acrylonitrile-Butadien-Styrene Copolymer "Electrical Conductor") is a conductive filament with a surface resistance of less than 10^6 R OHMS/SQ. This property allows the production of components that can conduct electrical charges. Of course, this is still a plastic and not an active conductor. The material has a lower resistance than, for example, ABS-ESD (or comparable ESD filaments), but at the same time it is not as conductive as a metal, for example. Kimya's conductive ABS-based 3D printing filament is suitable for various special industrial applications. For example, the material can be used to print simple conducting paths, housing parts and even electronic brackets . Especially in dual extrusion in combination with a non-conductive printing material, it can be used to create components that cannot be realized by traditional manufacturing methods.
