The Kimya HIPS-R 3D-filament belongs to the family of polystyrene filaments (HIPS = High Impact Polystyrene). This high impact polystyrene is a thermoplastic formulated from recycled materials. It has a high impact strength and heat resistance. The filament can be used to produce high-quality components with high load-bearing capacity. It has a very good density, which makes it possible to contain liquids without leakage. In addition, HIPS-R has a property that distinguishes it from all other filaments: its solubility in D-limonene. Industrial users use HIPS for packaging or in the food industry. Kimya HIPS-R filament is often used as a soluble support material or carrier material for ABS and ASA. As a primary printing material, HIPS offers excellent properties for impact-resistant applications such as housing covers, delivery reliability and production aids.

Température d'impressionRecommended nozzle temperature range. Stay within range for best layer adhesion and surface quality
250°C - 250°C
Température du plateauHeated bed temperature to prevent warping. Some materials like PLA can print without a heated bed
95°C - 95°C
