Since we frequently receive inquiries regarding the compatibility of Ultimaker filaments, we would like to inform you that this filament can be used in all Ultimaker printers. However, the built-in NFC chip can only be read by the Ultimaker 3 and the Ultimaker S5. With Ultimaker PC (polycarbonate) filament, you can create strong and durable parts that retain their shape even at temperatures up to 110°C. This filament is particularly suitable for manufacturing tools, functional prototypes, and small-batch parts. The Cura version released at the same time provides useful material profiles, allowing even complex models to be printed easily and reliably. Visit the Ultimaker Troubleshooting website or our FAQs for helpful tips on troubleshooting and optimizing your 3D printing process.
Type de matériauThe base polymer type determines printability, strength, flexibility, and heat resistance
PC
Température d'impressionRecommended nozzle temperature range. Stay within range for best layer adhesion and surface quality
270°C - 285°C
Température du plateauHeated bed temperature to prevent warping. Some materials like PLA can print without a heated bed
107°C - 107°C
Diamètre1.75mm is standard, 2.85mm for some printers
2.85 mm
Poids de la bobineNet weight of filament on the spool. Standard spools are 1kg (1000g)
750g
DensitéMaterial density affects part weight. Higher density = heavier prints for the same volume
1.2 g/cm³
