Bambu Lab PETG Translucent Refill Orange is a premium 3D printing filament designed for both professionals and enthusiasts. PETG (glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate) combines the best properties of ABS and PLA: it offers high strength, thermal resistance, and good impact toughness while being easy to process. The material is chemically resistant and food-safe, making it ideal for kitchenware or packaging applications. The translucent orange hue gives printed objects a modern, semi-transparent look, especially with thin walls or backlit designs. For optimal results, a printing temperature between 230°C and 250°C and a heated bed temperature of 70-80°C are recommended. While an enclosed chamber is not mandatory, it can help reduce warping on larger prints. PETG is UV and moisture resistant, though proper filament storage is advised to maintain print quality. Key strengths include its toughness and minimal warping, while limitations include slightly lower surface smoothness compared to PLA. This filament is perfect for functional prototypes, mechanical parts, containers, and decorative items.
