Bambu Lab PLA-CF in Violet is a premium 3D printing material reinforced with carbon fibers. This blend combines the ease of use of PLA with enhanced mechanical properties. The material offers increased stiffness and strength compared to standard PLA, making it ideal for functional parts. Additionally, PLA-CF features a matte, textured surface that effectively hides print artifacts. Recommended print temperatures range from 220°C to 240°C, while a heated bed temperature of 45°C to 60°C is sufficient. It is crucial to use a hardened nozzle, as the abrasive carbon fibers can damage standard nozzles. PLA-CF is perfect for applications requiring stability and a professional look, such as enclosures, mechanical parts, or model components. However, it is less heat-resistant than ABS or PETG and not suitable for prolonged outdoor use.
