Bambu Lab PLA Matte in Charcoal is a high-quality 3D printing filament refill based on Polylactic Acid (PLA), distinguished by its matte surface and an attractive, dark grey color. PLA is a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources like cornstarch or sugarcane, known for its ease of printing and low emissions. The matte finish reduces light reflections, giving prints a professional, modern look, ideal for aesthetically demanding projects. For optimal results, a nozzle temperature between 190°C and 230°C is recommended, with a heated bed temperature of 45°C to 60°C. Active cooling improves detail precision. Applications include decorative objects, casings, prototypes, and design items. Its strengths include high surface quality, ease of use, and eco-friendliness. Limitations include limited heat resistance; PLA begins to soften around 55°C, making it less suitable for parts exposed to high temperatures.
