This material combines the ease of use of standard PLA with a unique silky sheen and a dynamic color shift reminiscent of vibrant city lights. With a low shrinkage rate and stable dimensional tolerance of 1.75 mm, this filament is particularly user-friendly and reliable. Recommended printing temperatures range from 190 °C to 230 °C, with a heated bed temperature of 45–60 °C ensuring optimal adhesion. For the best shine, a print speed of no more than 50–60 mm/s is recommended. This filament is ideal for decorative objects, artwork, vases, and toys where aesthetics are paramount. Key strengths include the magnificent color gradients and low warping tendency. However, note that PLA-like silk filaments are sensitive to moisture and should be thoroughly dried before printing. Additionally, PLA is not heat-resistant and is better suited for indoor applications.
