Bambu Lab PLA Sparkle Gold is a premium 3D printing filament based on polylactic acid (PLA), distinguished by its unique, sparkling gold particles. This material features excellent usability, making it suitable for both beginners and professionals. PLA Sparkle Gold is biodegradable and exhibits low shrinkage and high resistance to warping, resulting in precise and detailed prints. The recommended printing temperature is between 190°C and 230°C, while the heated bed temperature should be set to 45°C to 60°C. For optimal results, a print speed of 40-60 mm/s is advised. This filament is ideal for decorative applications such as jewelry, art pieces, and enclosures that require a special shimmer effect. Strengths include ease of use, glossy finish, and eco-friendliness. However, PLA is less heat-resistant than other materials like ABS or PETG and should not be used for applications exposed to high temperatures.
