Bambu Lab TPU 90A Quicksilver is a premium thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with a Shore hardness of 90A, featuring a unique metallic finish in Quicksilver. This material offers the classic benefits of TPU, such as high flexibility, durability, and oil resistance, while adding a stunning glossy effect that makes it stand out for creative projects. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1,000 g, the spool is ideal for larger prints. Thanks to its optimized formulation, this TPU is relatively easy to process, provided a direct drive extruder is used. It is perfect for functional parts like seals, bumpers, or flexible joints, as well as decorative applications where a modern, metallic look is desired. Key strengths include high toughness and minimal warping, while limitations include limited heat resistance and the need for slower printing speeds. For best results, a printing temperature of 220–240 °C and a heated bed temperature of 40–60 °C are recommended, along with reduced print speeds.
