Bedrock 3D PLA Gold is a premium 3D printing filament made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), characterized by its stunning gold color and ease of use. This material is ideal for both beginners and experienced users, as it exhibits minimal warping and emits a pleasant, slightly sweet odor during printing. Thanks to its excellent adhesion on common build plates such as glass, PEI, or tape, PLA Gold ensures reliable print results with fine details and smooth surfaces. The recommended printing temperatures range from 190 to 220 °C, while the heated bed temperature should ideally be set between 50 and 60 °C. Bedrock 3D PLA Gold is versatile, suitable for decorative objects like jewelry and sculptures as well as functional prototypes and casings. Its strengths include high stiffness, low shrinkage, and eco-friendliness, as PLA is made from biodegradable raw materials. However, PLA is less heat-resistant than materials like ABS or PETG and should not be used for applications exposed to continuous temperatures above 60 °C. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 750 g, this spool provides ample material for numerous projects.
