Bedrock 3D PLA Gold is a premium 3D printing filament based on Polylactic Acid (PLA), ideal for users who value reliability and a high-quality finish. With a diameter of 2.85 mm and a net weight of 750 g, this spool offers an excellent balance for medium-sized printing projects. The material stands out for its low warping tendency upon cooling, making it one of the easiest materials for beginners and precise prints. The lustrous gold color delivers opaque, glossy surfaces that are particularly attractive for decorative objects, jewelry, or presentation models. For best results, a print bed temperature between 50 °C and 60 °C and a nozzle temperature of 190 °C to 220 °C are recommended. A heated print bed is optional but improves the adhesion of the first layer. PLA is biodegradable and produces minimal odor when printing, though it is less heat-resistant than materials like ABS or PETG. Bedrock 3D places high importance on a tight diameter tolerance range to prevent clogged nozzles and ensure consistent print results.
