Bedrock 3D PLA Tough Natural is a premium 3D printing filament designed for enhanced toughness and mechanical durability. Compared to standard PLA, this material offers higher impact resistance and resistance to breakage, making it ideal for functional prototypes and mechanical parts. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 8 g, this filament is perfect for test prints or small projects. The recommended printing temperature ranges between 190 and 220 °C, while the heated bed should be set to 50-60 °C for optimal adhesion. A cooled print bed is optional but can improve detail accuracy. PLA Tough Natural is particularly suitable for applications requiring a balance between ease of use and mechanical strength, such as enclosures, tool parts, or toys. Its strengths include low shrinkage, excellent surface finish, and eco-friendliness, as PLA is based on renewable resources. However, PLA Tough is not heat-resistant and should not be used for applications above 60 °C. Additionally, it is less flexible than materials like TPU or PETG.
