Extrudr PLA BASIC Gold is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on polylactic acid (PLA), known for its exceptional color and ease of use. This basic filament is ideal for beginners and advanced users alike who want reliable print results. PLA BASIC Gold is characterized by low warping during cooling and high dimensional stability, making it perfect for detailed models. The recommended printing temperature ranges between 190 and 220 °C, while the heated bed temperature should ideally be set between 50 and 60 °C to ensure good adhesion. Due to its low shrinkage, PLA rarely warps, simplifying the printing of large parts. Strengths of this material include its user-friendliness, minimal odor during printing, and smooth surface finish. Limitations include lower heat resistance compared to materials like ABS or PETG, making PLA BASIC Gold less suitable for heat-exposed applications. Suitable uses include decorative objects, prototypes, toys, and model making. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 10 g, this filament is perfect for small printing projects or experimenting with new designs.
