Extrudr PLA BASIC Transparent is a high-quality 3D printing material based on Polylactic Acid (PLA), designed for demanding applications. This filament stands out for its remarkable transparency, allowing the creation of objects with a glass-clear, aesthetic finish. It is easy to process, exhibits low shrinkage, and minimal warping, making it ideal for both beginners and professionals. PLA BASIC Transparent has a melting temperature of approximately 190–220 °C and is ideally printed without a heated bed, though a temperature of 50–60 °C can be used for better adhesion. The material is biodegradable and eco-friendly, derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane. Suitable applications include prototyping, decorative objects, light guide housings, and artistic projects. Its strengths include high toughness, smooth surface finish, and the ability to reproduce fine details. However, it should be noted that PLA is less heat-resistant than materials like ABS or PETG, making it less suitable for high-temperature applications. Storage should be dry and cool to prevent moisture damage.
