XPETG CF has a very high mechanical load capacity and is characterized by high stiffness and good elongation at break. The material has excellent impact strength and has good layer adhesion despite the high carbon content. As a first step, it is recommended to print a "heattower" and thus find the ideal settings for the respective device. Experience shows that the ideal printing temperature is between 210-230°C. Furthermore, the heat resistance of 85°C allows it to be used in a wide range of applications from the manufacture of electronic components to kitchen utensils. XPETG CF is suitable for beginners because the carbon fiber stabilizes the material and the plastic melt during bridging, resulting in less warpage. Carbon is very abrasive, so a hardened nozzle with a 0.5 mm diameter is recommended.
